The Honda Jazz: Small, Stylish and Efficient

The Honda Jazz or simple Jazz was introduced by Honda to the European market since 2001. It is a five-door hatchback that is also considered to be a compact car. It comes in either a 1.2 or 1.4 i-VTEC petrol engines and comes in nine grade models. These are a great way to get that driving experience that only Honda cars can provide without much of a bulk or the excessive consumption.

If you are weary about the size of the Honda Jazz, you should know that there is more than what meets the eye. The Jazz stands at 1525 mm tall, 2029 mm wide (1695 mm if you do not measure it with the side view mirrors), 3900 mm long and a wheelbase of 2500 mm. It comfortably seats five people including the driver and the space inside may be seem smaller than other sedans but it is comfortable. It is offered with the standard seat upholstery, height adjustments, magic seat flexibility, headrests and the 3-point seatbelts. You can even have the advantage of adding more options inside the car as you please. These would include entertainment systems, carpeting and the like if you have not yet found the standard features satisfying enough.

It comes with the standard 15” wheels that are ideal for the kind of daily driving that you need. Let us take a minute to discuss the engine variations for the nine different grades for the Honda Jazz. The S, S-T, SE and SE-T grades come in the 1.2 i-VTEC engines with the manual transmission. The Si on the other hand is offered with the 1.2 i-VTEC engine with manual transmission and the 1.4 i-VTEC engine with the variation of having it with either manual transmission or the i-SHIFT. Next we have the ES, ES-T, EX and EX-T grades that come with a 1.4 i-VTEC engine combined with either the i-SHIFT or manual transmission. This will help you narrow-down your searches on finding one that you will be most comfortable to own and drive.

The creature comforts of the Honda Jazz are a different story. While each model and grade comes loaded with its own set of features, you have the option to add or modify other factors as you see fit. This will give you a better overall idea on how you would like to have your car appear and feel whenever you use it. You will also have the option to choose from seven different colors that are all stylish and elegant. Among the things that you can add or change in you Honda Jazz of choice would include mudguards, side body protectors and step garnishes. You can also opt to have a back-up sensor and navigational tool installed for added driving and parking efficiency. The navigation system is strategically installed on the top-left side of the dashboard. This will give you the benefit of being comfortable enough to use the pad without having to take your eyes off the road. Finally, if you are not content with the 15’ wheels, you can always choose to upgrade it to a 16’ set.
